Background
Gustavo Albano joined JFI in August 2022 as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Jiwoong Park’s group. In 2018 he earned his PhD in Materials Science and Technology from São Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil) in Prof. Carlos F.O. Graeff’s group. Then he joined the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) from June 2018 to July 2022 as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Carlos C.B. Bufon’s group. His main research topics cover the fabrication and characterization of organic/hybrid electronics targeting strategic applications, including biosensing and neuromorphic systems. In Park’s group, Gustavo is investigating the integration of transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers into nanomembrane-based devices for charge transport investigation and electronic applications.
