Background
Leo joined the JFI as a postdoc in Vincenzo Vitelli's group in 2025, after completing his Ph.D. in Physics at Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris, where he studied models of interacting active particles using exact analytical methods. At UChicago, his research will mostly focus on the effects of non-reciprocal interactions and non-Hermiticity on various physical systems, in particular in the context of wave turbulence.
