Guyot-Sionnest Group
Background
Vincent Jae-Yeon Lim joined the JFI in June 2026 as a postdoctoral scholar in the group of Prof. Philippe Guyot-Sionnest. After a BA and MSci in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge (2020), he completed a DPhil in Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Oxford (2024), where he studied metal-halide perovskites with optical spectroscopy under the supervision of Prof. Laura Herz. At UChicago, Vincent works on mid-infrared quantum dots for optoelectronic applications.
