Background
Jochem Meijer joined the JFI in October 2024 as a postdoctoral scholar in the lab of Prof. Heinrich Jaeger. He completed is Ph.D. at the Physics of Fluids group of the University of Twente in the Netherlands under the supervision of Prof. Detlef Lohse, where he studied multi-component and multi-phase liquid systems out of equilibrium. At the JFI his research investigates material intelligence in 3D printed metamaterials.
