Background
Ashley Arcidiacono joined the JFI in May 2023 as an Arnold O. Beckman postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Prof. Sarah King. She received her B.S. in Chemistry at Villanova University where she investigated candidates for light-activated ruthenium based anti-cancer prodrugs under Prof. Jared Paul. Recently, she received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Florida State University where she studied light-matter interactions as they relate to molecular structure at organic-inorganic interfaces. Now, as a member of the King Lab at the University of Chicago, she is interested in probing ultrafast interfacial dynamics and constructing novel architectures for the controlled communication of electron spin at hybrid interfaces.
