Background
Deb joined the research group of Prof. Vaikuntanathan as a Postdoctoral Scholar in 2023. He earned his PhD with Prof. Madan Rao, with his thesis centered on the physics of tissue remodeling. Deb's research works in biophysics mostly focuses on the physics of living matter systems. His broad research interests encompass various domains of biophysics, soft-matter physics, and statistical mechanics, and he has a particular interest in uncovering the physical principles that govern the dynamics and forms observed in biological systems.
