Background
Joeson Wong joined Prof. Paul Alivisatos's group as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago in 2022. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan in 2015 and his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the California Institute of Technology in 2022. For his Ph.D., he worked with Harry Atwater and focused on studying the optoelectronic physics and engineering of atomically-thin (2D) photovoltaics. He is currently working on using nanocrystals for quantum information science applications.
