Background
Pengju Li joined JFI in June 2025 as a temporary postdoctoral scholar in Prof. Bozhi Tian’s group, before transitioning to a formal postdoctoral position at Princeton University. He earned his B.Eng. in Materials Science and Engineering from the National University of Singapore and his Ph.D. in Molecular Engineering from the University of Chicago. During his doctoral studies with Prof. Tian, he pioneered the field of “photoelectroceuticals.” At Tian Lab, he is completing work on nanoplasmonic systems and photosupercapacitors for minimally invasive biomedical applications and human–machine interfaces.
