Background
Vidyesh Rao Anisetti joined JFI in October 2024 as a postdoctoral scholar in Prof. Suri Vaikuntanathan’s group. He received his PhD from Syracuse University, where he was advised by Prof. Jennifer Schwarz. During his doctoral research, he developed physically plausible learning mechanisms for training simple systems such as resistor networks, elastic networks, and flow networks. His research interests focus on exploring the parallels between adaptive phenomena in nature and learning in artificial neural networks.
